Switchfoot 'Spirit'
I don't know what album this came off of...must have been a bonus track somewhere. A.W. Tozer says when Jesus is glorified, the Spirit comes. What were the disciples doing when the Spirit came at Pentecost (Act 2)? Glorifying Jesus. We should probably pay more attention to this.....

Amen, when we make much of Jesus..."the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you."(Jn16:13-14) I love this promise! When we focus on, glorify, rejoice in Jesus and when we speak His words, when we proclaim the Gospel... the Spirit comes in power and glorifies the Son! Fall fresh on me, Holy Spirit. Declare the truth of Jesus to my heart/mind, open my eyes, illumine me Spirit Divine. (and now I get to add some Switchfoot to my chorus ;)
