(For the next few weeks, I'll be posting these quotes that meant a lot to her as she neared the end of her life here on earth. If you read them closely, you'll see a common thread there....I'll let you find it without any commentary - except to encourage you to take the entries to heart and be blessed...and perhaps store them away in your own journal....)

"The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10
"For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.
Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name"
"For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.
Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name"
Psalm 86:10-11
"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom"
"Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days." Psalm 90: 12, 14
Amazing to think that she wrote the Psalm 90 verse when the number of her days left was in weeks, not years or even months. This is exactly what the psalmist wrote it for. "that we may gain a heart of wisdom"... this is just what she did and gained, isn't it.
