Horace Silver's "Peace"

A favorite song of mine, sung by none other than Nora Jones. I guess this recording is a little's from Marion McPartland's Piano Jazz. I think it must be Marion on piano then. Both women are amazing, and so is Horace Silver who wrote the song way back when. Try listening late at night with very dim lights when all is quiet....mmmmm, nice.

  1. Smoooooth and easy. I find that pretty much all of Norah's music puts me instantly in chill mode :)

  2. I like that you (and Blaine) pass on some really great spiritual truths that bless me big time. But you both have some really great connections to music... good music. This one does make me chill and I need and like that effect of good smooth jazz. Thanks.

  3. I'm glad you like it. It may be a sacrilege to the jazz gods, but I just may like this version of this song better than the original *gasp*
